Why Mental Health First Aid Matters:
Mental health awareness within the healthcare environment is crucial. Nearly 1 in 5 adults in the U.S. lives with a mental illness, and as a long-term care facility, you’re at the forefront of supporting both staff and residents. Mental Health First Aid (MHFA) training helps your team identify, understand, and respond to mental health challenges, creating a safer, more supportive environment for everyone.
What is Mental Health First Aid?
MHFA provides the tools your staff needs to recognize the signs of mental health and substance use challenges. Whether it's addressing depression, anxiety, or substance use issues, your team will be equipped to respond with confidence.
